Dr Asif Kahn is a pleasant and personable surgeon who was my 5 star rated "Second Opinion" doctor which I sought out after being told my big left toe would require urgent amputation about a month ago. He brought with him aShow moren A" team' of infectious disease, and wound care people. It's been a long road and a six day hospital stay, and weekly follow-up visits, and I still have my Big Toe! He's a great doctor and has a wonderful staff. I would highly recommend! Five stars from me!
Dr. Khan and the ENTIRE Team at Lonestar Podiatry are a “10 out of 10”!! Everyone at the practice is so helpful, kind, respectful and an advocate for the patient. As a “new patient”, I was taken literally, as soon as I was “checkeShow mored in”…some 15 minutes EARLY!! Where does that happen? Dr. Khan is very knowledgeable, kind, actively listened and incredibly THOROUGH-addressed the condition I went in for, and checked for other issues that could be associated with the original concern. BRAVO Team!!

I came in for a check up on my left foot. When I gave him the update on my left foot he never referred to the left foot issue. He focused on a new issue on my right foot. I also brought up issues about red spots on my ankle as well as an issue with my right foot falling asleep. He never addressed those issues as well. He felt my foot, said it was warm, said it was a gout attack, and gave me an oral steroid without addressing any of the issues I spoke to his medical assistant about.
My first visit and I was very impressed with the care I received from the staff and the Dr.Khan. Down to earth Dr. who listened and explained everything to where I could understand. Ordered some test to rule out any possibilities. Hopefully I will find some relief from my pain. We will see.
