Ayanna Swinton Jamison, MD

Ayanna Swinton Jamison, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist at Envision Wellness Medical Group in Columbia, South Carolina. She has over 18 years of experience in general and child and adolescent psychiatry. 

Dr. Jamison attended Jackson State University, where she received her undergraduate degree in Biology Pre-Med. She then graduated from Saint Louis University Medical School and completed her residency training in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of South Carolina. 

She is committed to educating her patients about their illnesses and providing care that is tailored to the individual patient’s needs. Dr. Jamison has experience working in both the private and state settings. She has worked with every diagnosis and age group and has extensive experience in a number of different specialty areas, including counseling, medication management, Ketamine infusions, Spravato, and electric magnetic therapy. 

Dr. Jamison is a proud mom of four who enjoys spending time with her family and attending her children’s sports events.
