Ms. Barbara Kangas, NP

Barbara Kangas, FNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Summit Pain Alliance, in Santa Rosa and Petaluma, California, who is committed to providing the highest quality care for patients seeking help with the management of their pain. She has been with the practice since 2012 takes pride in helping her patients uncover the root causes of their problems.

Barbara began her nursing career in 1997 when she graduated with an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from Yuba College. While working at Adventist Health Redbud Community Hospital, she continued to build upon her education and completed her Master's of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2011.

Barbara brings to the team over 20 years of expert nursing experience from diverse experiences ranging from urgent care to hospital settings. She is known for her dedication and compassion in working with patients from all backgrounds and with all conditions. Since joining Summit Pain Alliance, she has consistently brought the highest level of medical attention to everyone she serves in and around Santa Rosa and Petaluma, California.
