I had a good feeling about Perspective Eyes and Dr. Arthur even before I stepped foot into his office. He and his staff were very patient and kind on the phone and responded quickly to scheduling requests. Also, they use a really Show moreefficient texting/email notification service that reminds you of appointments. I found this to be super helpful. At the office, Dr. Arthur and his staff could not have been nicer. They were very conscientious about social distancing, wiping of surfaces (and frames) and wearing masks. The office is spacious and they offer a wide variety of frames for every budget and style. Dr. Arthur is so nice and has a wonderful bedside manner. The eye exam itself was thorough and Dr. Arthur took the time to explain how my vision had changed and the best lenses to prevent eye strain. I’m so glad I learned about his practice and highly recommend him! He’s also very committed to serving our Brooklyn community and gives back to those in need. Just an all-around A+ experience and I can’t wait for my new eyeglasses!
Dr. Arthur was kind, clear, and thorough! Also he was very meticulous about disinfecting every part of the equipment that would touch or be near my face. Also a very kind front desk, who was patient with my glasses selection and oShow moreffered helpful feedback when I needed support making a decision! The cost break down was clear and all charges were stated up front before I went into my exam or purchased my new pair of glasses. Overall this was an excellent and pleasant experience.
Benjamin Arthur, OD, is the experienced optometrist and owner of Perspective Family Eyecare in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, and Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York, where he puts patient health and outcomes above all else. After earning his Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, Dr. Arthur went on to earn both his Master’s of Science in vision science and his Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry in New York City.
Prior to opening Perspective Family Eyecare, Dr. Arthur gained valuable experience working for private optometry practices throughout Brooklyn and Queens, in New York City, as well as in New Jersey. However, his ultimate goal was to always serve his community and help change the patient perspective on the value of eye care by making it accessible and affordable for all.
With his warm and welcoming demeanor, Dr. Arthur makes all of his patients feel right at home as soon as they walk through the door.

I've been going to this office for years. Dr. Arthur and the whole staff are always so friendly and good at what they do.
Staff was attentive, welcoming, and thorough in all aspects of the visit. Dr. Arthur was serious and informative while also being comforting and easy to talk to. I’ll definitely be returning for any other visits including my annual appointment each year.

Ayo (sp?) and Kiana at this practice are truly the best assistants. They are fun, personable, and go above and beyond with the information and experience. Dr. Hong was efficient with the exam, although I can imagine there may be a disconnect going from Kiana's vivacious personality to Dr. Hong's more formidable approach, haha (although I don't hold that against Dr. Hong and neither should you!) Looking forward to coming back for my contacts refitting :)
This was my first visit and everyone there was so sweet and kind. One of the guys out front (I wish I knew his name), he helped me look around and try on frames giving his welcomed opinion. The eye doctor was very personable and lovely. Thank you for the parting gift! ☺️

I was grateful that they could fit me in since the appointment was made at the last minute. I had been going to Dr Baruch at this location and he was fine for my purposes, but very happy with Dr Arthur who I felt was more thorough. Two friends who'd also gone to Dr B. had shared this same experience. And of course the office renovation is a big improvement!

As always, it was a good experience at Perspective Family Eyecare. I made an appt for a vision exam, but it wasn't covered by my insurance. The folks at Perspective called me and offered an appt for an eye health exam, which was covered. They were proactive about my health, and I appreciated it. Dr. Arthur and his staff are always kind and professional.

Dr. Arthur and his staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming to me. As a new client, I thoroughly researched other practices nearby and I am so happy I decided to come to Dr. Arthur. He explained his reasoning for everything he was doing and made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Really really polite staff. The doctor was also such a delight to work with, even early on a Saturday. I’m excited to finally have somewhere to go for my eye care so close to my home.
