I was a former patient. Never got to visit with Dr. Z so I felt I needed to sit with an actual Dr. to resolve my heath concerns. I left and found Dr. Montemayor and was under his care. He is now assisting Dr. Z here in PleasantShow moreon. Darn good TEAM.l They both worked the Atascosa Health Clinic back in the day. Both are Awesome Dr.s. This is what Atascosa County needs. Keep up t5he good work. If anyone is looking for good Dr.s try either of these two Dr.s.

The new dr was very very helpful
Staff is friendly but there is no sense of urgency to get patients seen by PA(s) or doctor(s) per their assigned appointment times. Prescriptions refills are very poorly handled. Pharmacy calls in refills and it takes weeks to get the approval for the refill(s). Medications that are extremely important for a patient to take ends up being so late that the patient runs out due to the poor attention to returning calls to the pharmacy. This is failure needs attention w/o blaming insurance company.

Every time I’ve been in this office the staff have been great! Tina and Arlene both go out of their way to help us. I love this place the Drs and NPs are also amazing ❤️

I have gone to Dr Zertuche's office for 20 years now. Whether seeing him or one of his highly qualified nurse practitioners, I've always been satisfied with their practice. I won't go anywhere else... unless he closes down. Lol
