Listening to everything I’ve tried in the past and have gone through. She came up with a treatment plan. After a few tries we came up with something that is working for me. For the first time in years I’m able to string days together now without a headache!!!! I couldn’t be happier. She is wonderful. Answer her phone calls. Returns them and answers questions. Wonder doctor that truly cares about your pain and needs. Being epileptic on top of my head injury with the complication of the migraines she has been a God sent.

Dr. Bernadette Nazario-Lopez is the founder and medical director of the Migraine and Headache Center of Florida. She is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and in Headache Medicine by the United Council of Neurologic Subspecialties.
Dr. Nazario-Lopez served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL, where she initiated and assisted in the development of the Headache Medicine Clinic. Prior to starting her own practice, Dr. Nazario-Lopez was the Medical Director of the Headache Program at a healthcare institution in Florida.
Prior to entering medical school, Dr. Nazario-Lopez received a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, graduating cum laude. She then went to complete 2 post-graduate clinical pharmacy training programs at the San Juan VA Medical Center. She decided to continue with her passion with direct patient care, studying medicine at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, where she graduated magna cum laude. Subsequently, she completed her Neurology residency at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.
Dr. Nazario-Lopez expertise include evaluating and treating different types of headaches that include, but not limited to migraine, cluster headache, tension type headache, paroxysmal hemicrania, new daily persistent headache, pseudotumor cerebri, headache in pregnancy, occipital neuralgia, post-Covid headache, among others. She also evaluates and treats facial pain, including trigeminal neuralgia.
She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and American Headache Society.

Dr Nazario continues to give excellent care to my wife. We're happy to report that after following Dr Nazarios directions and trying a new medication that my wife has had a break in her ongoing battle with migraine headaches. After 7 years of continuous migrains she is now a little over 2 weeks headache free. Thank you Dr. Nazario!!

Dr Nazario continues to impress me with every visit. She is very thorough with her exam and her explaining her treatment plan. She discusses her reasoning for why she determines one treatment versus another. She ALWAYS reviews all meds to assure there is no interaction. Her office staff is very capable and warm. Finding a physician who understands how disruptive migraines can be has been a godsend.

Dr Navarro-Lopez is the most observant and knowledgeable Neurologist that I’ve seen for my Occipital Neuralgia and Cervogenic headaches. I drive an hour and a half to meet with this intelligent and empathetic Doctor. First visit with Dr Nazario today. Very impressed! She spent a good bit of time with me, was very thorough. She put my mind at ease about one of my big concerns. She is very knowledgeable in her field. I have 2 new medications to try and will be following up with her in a couple of months.
