Bethany Benson, LCPC

Bethany Benson is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Board-Certified Supervisor for the State of Maryland. She has experience working with adults, children, and families in both the school and outpatient settings. Before joining Balance Point Wellness, she worked with children ranging from ages four to fifteen in a school setting and adults experiencing chronic homelessness in Baltimore City. Bethany has experience working with individuals with various diagnoses, including but not limited to Adjustment Issues, Grief, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder, Trauma, Anxiety, and Depressive Disorders. She uses an eclectic approach grounded in CBT, Play therapy, and Person-Centered, tailored to each individual’s specific needs. Bethany believes in the power of a positive therapeutic relationship to help each individual find healing and reach their fullest potential.
