Beverly Chang, MD

Dr. Beverly Chang completed her Bachelor of Science degree at UC Berkeley where she volunteered at “The Over 60 Health Center.” During medical school at UC Irvine, she founded the Geriatrics Interest Group. Dr. Chang completed her General Psychiatry residency at UCSF Fresno. She was selected chief resident during her fourth year of residency and was also named a Geriatric Mental Health Foundation Scholar by the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry. After residency, she went on to pursue advanced training at UC San Diego where she completed a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry. She has extensive experience at inpatient, outpatient, nursing home and tele-health settings. Dr. Chang has co-authored literature on geriatrics education, palliative care and contributed to the latest edition of the Geriatric Psychiatry Self Assessment Program. She maintains her relationship with UCSF Fresno Memory and Alzheimer Center as a volunteer faculty member.
