Dr. Pearson was very knowledgeable and understanding of my Lumbar Spine issues. He took time to answer all the questions my husband and I had. He was very honest with me about explaining the fact that surgery would not improve mShow morey situation and that he would not advise it. That meant a lot to me, because I have seen doctors in the past that care more about the money than the patient. I would recommend him to anyone needing help in his specialty.

Blake E. Pearson, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Alabama Neurological Surgery & Spine in Birmingham, Alabama. He joined the practice in 2011.
Dr. Pearson studied at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, for his undergraduate degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2000. From there, he moved to Washington, DC, to attend Georgetown University’s School of Medicine.
For his internship and residency, Dr. Pearson relocated to Birmingham to study under the skilled staff at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Here, he was awarded Chief Resident in Neurosurgery. Today he is affiliated with Grandview Medical Center.

The surgery went as Dr Pearson had described it would at our initial meeting. The excruciating pain I had been suffering from was completely gone when I woke up from recovery. To me, it was a miracle!
