Very nice experience. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Dr Pearson was friendly and took time with us to answer questions and fully explain his recommendations. We were expecting his recommendation to be back surgery, but were verShow morey surprised and pleased that in fact that was not the case. He recommended more physical therapy and said even chiropractic care might be helpful. He went so far as to say back surgery would not help. my situation. I recommend Dr Pearson.

Blake E. Pearson, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Alabama Neurological Surgery & Spine in Birmingham, Alabama. He joined the practice in 2011.
Dr. Pearson studied at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, for his undergraduate degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2000. From there, he moved to Washington, DC, to attend Georgetown University’s School of Medicine.
For his internship and residency, Dr. Pearson relocated to Birmingham to study under the skilled staff at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Here, he was awarded Chief Resident in Neurosurgery. Today he is affiliated with Grandview Medical Center.

Met with Doctor Pearson for a consult concerning my back. I was completely overwhelmed going into this process and worried I would be limited in mobility and always have some sort of pain. Dr Pearson explained to my wife and I (in layman’s terms) the issue and corrective action. I wouldn’t trust my back to anyone else.

Dr Pearson took time and explained the surgery in detail. We were not rushed or made to feel like he was to busy to answer our questions. Elizabeth was very courteous and fast in setting up my surgery. She answered all the questions I had and took the responsibility of calling everyone and getting the necessary information needed. I would recommend this practice to anyone with back pain.

Nothing but good to say. This was a follow up visit after surgery. Had a pinched nerve and surgery immediately eliminated the pain. The follow up meeting was quick almost no waiting. I highly recommend this practice and Dr Pearson
