Blake E. Pearson, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Alabama Neurological Surgery & Spine in Birmingham, Alabama. He joined the practice in 2011.
Dr. Pearson studied at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, for his undergraduate degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2000. From there, he moved to Washington, DC, to attend Georgetown University’s School of Medicine.
For his internship and residency, Dr. Pearson relocated to Birmingham to study under the skilled staff at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Here, he was awarded Chief Resident in Neurosurgery. Today he is affiliated with Grandview Medical Center.

Dr Pearson took time and explained the surgery in detail. We were not rushed or made to feel like he was to busy to answer our questions. Elizabeth was very courteous and fast in setting up my surgery. She answered all the questions I had and took the responsibility of calling everyone and getting the necessary information needed. I would recommend this practice to anyone with back pain.
