About Dr. Bobby Sanders, MD, MPH

Sanders, MD, is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician, active in clinical medicine, consulting, and entrepreneurship. 

Dr. B. Sanders manages the facility at Extended Care Medical in Dothan, Alabama,  where they offer in-person treatment and telemedicine. The physical office is located in Alabama, but he also provides telehealth for patients in Florida.

He received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the UAB School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. He completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at Baptist/UAB Health in Montgomery, where he also served as Chief Resident. 

Additionally, he received his Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus in Health Policy and Management from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Over the past ten-plus years, Dr. B. Sanders has served in multiple leadership roles in the healthcare sector. He has a wide variety of experience in the health care arena involving corporate wellness, occupational medicine, wound care, acute care medicine, addiction medicine, and men’s health.
