Dr. Tackitt is by far the best medical professionals I've had. Its very obvious that he cares for his patients. Yes, you may have to wait a bit to see him, but this is actually a good thing. It tells me that he takes his time withShow more everyone, and makes sure they are 100% informed and aren't leaving there with more questions. His demeanor and his sense of humor helps to make an already uncomfortable situation a much easier process. He delivered my grandson in 2010 and I know that was luck of the draw, but we were so happy when we learned he was the doc on call. He has delivered my worn out uterus (lol). The hysterectomy was in 2013, an it was one for the record books. Both unusual and difficult, and he was amazing through tge entire ordeal. He didn't just do rounds and stop by my hospital room, it felt more like a very informative friend was visiting with me. Not just answering my questions, but my family's as well. He recently preformed another surgery on my youngest daughter, and again he was amazing in all the ways I mentioned above. Even the nurses and staff at the hospital, and in his office speak very highly of him, and because of that they also follow his lead in being top notch. He, and they are glowing examples of what patient care should look like. Dr. Tackitt, Dr. Tic-tac, Dr Bobby T all the names I've heard him be called the best one to discribe him is OUTSTANDING.
I could not rave more about everyone on this staff! The building set and employees from beginning to is beyond comfortable! However, I couldn’t be more pleased with feeling safe, listened to, cared for! To have the such clear/true real advice/understanding in a non rushed robotic way was an experience that’s not found hardly anywhere. I know it’s hard for employees in this field and couldn’t imagine the stress of dealing with human bodies of all walks of life, with subjects such as. They do it with true ease/pose in a professional way, as if you are the only one there as a real human not just a number with money. Everyone was treating myself like as if I was a family member. I could go on and on especially cause I have several triggers/anxieties but not with this place! Thank you all, for being truly wonderful souls! Bless you! Bobby O. Tackitt II, MD, is a board-certified OB-GYN who provides dedicated and diligent care to his patients at OB-GYN Associates of Marietta’s office in Marietta and Woodstock, Georgia.
Dr. Tackitt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and his medical degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia. He relocated to Denver, Colorado, to complete an internship in internal medicine, a second internship in obstetrics and gynecology, and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology, all at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Dr. Tackitt is currently a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and enjoys membership in the Missouri State Medical Association, the St. Louis Gynecological Society, and the American Urogynecologic Society. Prior to joining the team at OB-GYN Associates of Marietta in 1999, he ran a private practice in southern Missouri.
In his practice, Dr. Tackitt specializes in pelvic floor reconstruction, the treatment of urinary incontinence, and advanced minimally invasive laparoscopy. He maintains a subspecialty interest in urogynecology and teaches pelvic floor reconstruction surgical procedures.
Outside of work, Dr. Tackitt raises Japanese koi, grows orchids, and participates in Schutzhund, a competitive dog-training sport. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children.

always the best bedside manor!
The practice has been a go to for what’s going to be three generations of women. My referrals have been numerous because Dr Tackett has wonderful bedside manner and makes you feel like family.
