Bola Sogade, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN and family practice physician at ObGyne Birth Center for Natural Deliveries in Forsyth, Georgia. Dedicated to providing the best possible care for her patients, Dr. Sogade was the first physician in Georgia to offer a natural delivery birthing center. She’s also a skilled surgeon and is known as the Robotic Queen of Georgia for minimally invasive procedures.
After completing her doctor of medicine at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan in Nigeria, Dr. Sogade went on to her transitional internship at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital. There, she received extensive medical training in general surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, and gynecology.
Dr. Sogade relocated to the United States to complete her OB/GYN internship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She went on to complete two residency programs—one in obstetrics and gynecology at the Mercer University School of Medicine, the other in family medicine at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Her training allowed her to become dually board-certified in family medicine and obstetrics and gynecology.
Dedicated to her career and to giving back, Dr. Sogade serves as a clinical assistant professor at Mercer University School of Medicine. In her lectures, she shares her skills and experience with medical students and residents in the family medicine program.
When she’s not at the office, Dr. Sogade fills her time taking care of herself and others. She enjoys exercising and long-distance running, as well as mentoring preteen and teenage girls. She is a champion for serving the underrepresented, underserved, and unvoiced women.

Office is always very professional!
It’s very clean and rich in office style. The doctor is very soft spoken and straight to the point, so if you’re looking for extra attention - I don’t know. No Long wait times, they send you emails and text message reminders in which I love.
Dr.Bola is really friendly.
OBGYN birthing center is a great place for women to get the care they need.. Dr. Sogade and staff are great and always make me feel welcome..

I had to unexpectedly change OB/GYN doctors and I have been nothing but impressed by Dr. Sogade. She has been proactive since the start and has reached diagnosis’s for things my other doctor was nonchalant about. I am grateful for Dr. Sogade and her nice staff at the office on Hemlock!!

I have a personal relationship with her secretary that does the scheduling, love her ♥️! and with Dr. Sogade. She saved my life! She has patience and very caring, all the staff is honestly. She even done my hysterectomy after finding cancerous polyps. I took my 79yr mama to her and she found a lump on her breast that her MD she’s been seeing for years did not find. I took my daughter to her also. I love the fact that she prays with you and always ask about my family when I see her. My whole family loves her and the staff. Dr. Sogade you are a blessing to me and my family. I love the fact that she does all her surgeries in Macon. I live in Barnesville so I go to the one in Forsyth. Very convenient. I love them all and would highly recommend Dr. Sogade any day, you are a blessing to me and my family. I love you all, thank you
