Board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, Brandy Wadsworth, DNP, PMHNP-BC, compassionately cares for people 16 and older, improving their mental well-being using an individualized approach. 

Brandy brings a strong academic foundation and extensive clinical experience to her work. Her educational experience includes:

• Bachelor of Science (BS) from SUNY Plattsburgh (2014)
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from SUNY Stony Brook (2018)

With more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field, Brandy has cared for patients in a wide range of settings. Her professional background includes work in rural primary care practices, hospitals, correctional facilities, and telehealth environments. This diverse experience allows her to skillfully support individuals from all walks of life and to understand the complex challenges that can affect mental health across different communities.

Brandy works collaboratively with patients to provide counseling, medication management, stress management strategies, and lifestyle coaching. Medications are used thoughtfully and only when appropriate to help treat conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, mood disorders, and PTSD. Treatment plans are carefully tailored to each patient’s lifestyle, health history, and personal goals, with an emphasis on building long-term stability and resilience.
