I met Dr. Gantwerker as my third opinion, I'm so happy that I made this visit a priority before having surgery by anyone. Upon my arrival the office staff made me feel very welcome despite some other reviews that I have read. My Show moreonly concern with administration was the insecurity I left with about their billing procedures and how they would or would NOT communicate with my insurance provider. As for Dr. Gantwerker, TOP NOTCH! His experience speaks for itself however his demeanor is not arrogant or belittling, NEVER in my medical history has any Dr. spent so much time assessing my needs, his attention to detail is astounding. My condition has lead me to several other top surgeons in search of who I'd choose as my surgeon. This quest has lead me to three other Dr's who all were quick to identify what was causing my pains, however when I asked them about additional symptoms they dismissed my concerns telling me that we should address one thing at a time, NOT Gantwerker! he has setup further test to determine what were dealing with in advance. This was important for me and it has made it really easy for me to decide that he will be my surgeon. I highly recommend anyone reading this to consult with DR Gantwerker before proceeding with others.
Dr. Gantwerker is very confident and he answers all of your questions, he also asks a lot of questions during your exam; he also advises you with the best options for your conditions. Time in the exam room is not rushed. He wants Show moreyou to make sure all of your questions as well as your exam is fully complete. He sometimes uses these back plastic models to show you exactly whats going on and what will take place during the surgery. By the way, he is not in a rush to operate, he might try physical therapy and other methods first. He reviews your MRI scans on a very large monitor so you can see the issues, or lack of issues with these scans. He will surely answer any questions and concerns. His staff is excellent. I had some trouble getting the correct MRI's done. The staff resent the paperwork to the imaging center within just a few minutes, getting rid of my frustrations and stress. With Covid the staff takes great care making sure the patients are not in contact in the office, pens are clean, masks are required, we all know these guidelines. You surely won't get Covid in this office.

Dr. Gantwerker is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled physician, and is truly dedicated to his patients. Unlike most physicians today, he took the time to thoroughly review my health history and test results,, ask me in-depth questions, and to analyze my back injuries in order to effectively guide me on the best course of action. The office is very welcoming and efficient. Dr. Gantwerker listens well and easily and without prompting pulls up relevant test information available on his multi-hospital medical portal to obtain relevant data from previous tests, etc. And he is very knowledgable and clear about discussing all aspects of his diagnosis, your options, risks, etc. I have every confidence in his judgement.
Office staff is wonderful and Dr Gantwerker has those rare qualities of professionalism, kindness and he actually listens. Highly reccomend this group!
Dr. Gantwerker is a wonderful doctor and human being. His knowledge and sensitivity to his patients is A+! I would recommend him to anyone needing surgery, and in my case, back surgery.
excellent all around and i would definitely recommend dr Gantwerker to anybody that asks me. He is very friendly and open minded and talks to you like a regular person as opposed to many surgeons who can be very aloof and unfriendly and even condescending.

Great experience. Dr G did a fantastic job of explaining the details of my condition.
Superb and caring.”, as always
dr Gantwerker did a great job on my occipital nerve decompression surgery and as a result my horrible very painful headaches are no more and its been 10 days since the surgery.
Doctor gave me all the time I needed to ask questions
I was experiencing a constant pain on the left side of my head that was not resolved by the usual remedies. I consulted two doctors who could not diagnose the problem, but the second fortunately recommended I see Dr. Gantwerker. Dr. Gantwerker ordered a MRI, reviewed it, and immediately diagnosed the issue. He recommended a daily medication that eliminates the pain. Dr. Gantwerker is personable, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and takes the time to patiently explain everything. I am very selective and highly recommend Dr. Gantwerker, you will not be disappointed! In addition, Annick in the front office is wonderful. She is very pleasant, efficient, and always makes you feel comfortable.
