Brian Kelly

Brian Kelly, MS, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor at Pioneer Counseling and Consulting, which has locations in Canonsburg, Washington, and Wexford, Pennsylvania. He brings a rich and varied background to his counseling work, having provided care in inpatient facilities, college counseling centers, and outpatient private practice. These diverse environments have shaped his understanding of the human experience and strengthened his ability to support clients through a wide range of life challenges.

He specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults in both individual and couples counseling. His areas of experience include anxiety, depression, ADHD, vocational concerns, trauma-informed therapy, body dysmorphia, and relationship issues. Through these areas of focus, he helps clients improve their quality of life, build resilience, and increase confidence in navigating everyday challenges.

In individual therapy, he uses an eclectic approach, with a strong foundation in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). By blending various therapeutic techniques, he guides clients in developing psychological flexibility, emotional awareness, and a stronger sense of identity—helping them feel more connected to their authentic selves.

In his work with couples, he draws from the Gottman Method, using evidence-based strategies to help partners repair, rebuild, and reconnect. His goal is to help each couple understand their roles in the relationship and strengthen the foundations of love, trust, and communication.

At the heart of his approach is a deep belief in each person’s ability to grow.
