Over several visits, mine was a very positive experience; I would recommend this practice with no reservations.

Byron Edwards Ph.D., PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant at the Dermatology Center. HIs educational journey began at Brigham Young University where he obtained both a BS degree in psyschology (1981) and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology (1984). His pre-doctoral internship was completed at Yale University. After almost 10 years in a private psychology practice, he returned to school and completed the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Utah School of Medicine (1986). Byron has practiced dermatology for over 25 years.
He is a member of the American Psycological Association, American Acadamy of Physician Assistants, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Byron is married with five children and has 10 grandchildren. He enjoys practicing medicine, activities with his family, and riding dirt bikes in the desert.

Dr Edwards is one of a kind! He can have you looked at, freeze the bad spots and give you great news before you can think of any pain! He does an awesome job and they have wonderful staff members that give you that family feeling
Dr. Edwards becomes an immediately trusted friend. He's real and understands how patients feel when coming in for both small and potentially challenging issues. Takes care of things quickly, gives solid direction and advice and makes the visit a positive one.

He is an amazing. He takes time with his patients and lets them know that their care is important care and wellbeing is important to him. He wants to make sure that they get the care that they expect along with knowing that he will always listen and show kindness in his care with everyone. Add to that he’s really funny.
