I didn’t have to wait at all. I got in before I could even sit down. I was nervous about a possible procedure and Dr. Edwards put me at ease instantly with his fun humor and options of how we could take care of the skin cancer. I Show morewas so relieved. I have been seeing him for years and won’t ever consider changing.
He is an amazing. He takes time with his patients and lets them know that their care is important care and wellbeing is important to him. He wants to make sure that they get the care that they expect along with knowing that he Show morewill always listen and show kindness in his care with everyone. Add to that he’s really funny.
Byron Edwards Ph.D., PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant at the Dermatology Center. HIs educational journey began at Brigham Young University where he obtained both a BS degree in psyschology (1981) and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology (1984). His pre-doctoral internship was completed at Yale University. After almost 10 years in a private psychology practice, he returned to school and completed the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Utah School of Medicine (1986). Byron has practiced dermatology for over 25 years.
He is a member of the American Psycological Association, American Acadamy of Physician Assistants, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Byron is married with five children and has 10 grandchildren. He enjoys practicing medicine, activities with his family, and riding dirt bikes in the desert.

Byron Edwards is professional and thorough in his desire to take care of any skin abnormalities. He talks with his patients and is very good with his explanations regarding skin problems.
If you’re looking for a really great dermatologist, look no further than Dr. Edwards. Very knowledgeable and a excellent bedside manner. The entire staff is absolutely awesome! Nurses, receptionists and basically everyone in the office!
Very happy with this clinic and Byron. Id'ed Skin cancer on my ear which was surgically removed/skin graft etc. and looked good at most recent visit .

Dr Edwards is one of a kind! He can have you looked at, freeze the bad spots and give you great news before you can think of any pain! He does an awesome job and they have wonderful staff members that give you that family feeling
