Byron Edwards Ph.D., PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant at the Dermatology Center. HIs educational journey began at Brigham Young University where he obtained both a BS degree in psyschology (1981) and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology (1984). His pre-doctoral internship was completed at Yale University. After almost 10 years in a private psychology practice, he returned to school and completed the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Utah School of Medicine (1986). Byron has practiced dermatology for over 25 years.
He is a member of the American Psycological Association, American Acadamy of Physician Assistants, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Byron is married with five children and has 10 grandchildren. He enjoys practicing medicine, activities with his family, and riding dirt bikes in the desert.

Well done. The clerk was nice and got the information she needed. I was shown into the examine room by a pleasant young woman and then Dr Edwards came in. He is very nice and talks about my interests. He explained the procedure and gave me instructions. Well done.
Byron always makes me laugh as he’s removing g scary looking things from all over my face and body. What should be an uncomfortable appointment becomes something to look forward to. His nurses and staff are just as awesome.
Always very helpful and informative, I go every 6-8 months for checkups, biopsies, kryosurgery, moh’s sirgery, and they have always kept me from skin cancer spreading or worsening conditions. Wish I had worn more sunscreen as. A 70’s kid.
Great experience he is always so patient with my daughter and has a great way of distracting her.

The receptionist was polite and friendly and efficient. The nursing staff was also kind and polite when getting information about the last office I went to in another state. Dr. Edwards listened to me and checked my area's of concern and applied treatment where needed. My experience was very good.
