She earned her doctorate from the Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon, before pursuing a residency specializing in ocular and refractive surgery at Chu Vision Institute in Bloomington, Minnesota.
While studying at Pacific, Dr. Hintz earned membership in the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society and held many leadership positions.
In her spare time, Dr. Hintz enjoys getting outside as much as possible and finding new trails on which to hike. She also enjoys playing the piano, running, and spending time with friends and family.

Very thorough and a kind person. All of the staff is great, helpful and efficient.
Very comprehensive approach and explained each step along with clear guidance and necessary follow up.
Yearly checkup for eyes and also follow up for cataract surgery. Dr. Hintz is very easy to talk to and explain the nature of your eyes and I age.
