Caroline is naturally gifted at explaining the reasons behind symptoms, and provides a helpful list of watch outs for any concerns you may have. Despite women's health sometimes being an uncomfortable or sensitive area to discuss, Caroline is approachable and easy talk to. She's warm, but also incredibly smart and professional, which makes it effortless to feel comfortable in her presence. I always love the midwives but Caroline is one of the best. I always feel nervous going to doctors yet with Caroline she makes me comfortable and not awkward. She’s supper kind and nice and knows her stuff. All the midwives do. AnShow mored for the 52nd street location I love the receptionist too. She’s super nice and communicates so well about the insurance and everything. Definitely prefer this location over the others.
Caroline Paster graduated from the Midwifery Education Program at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where she received the Spirit of Midwifery Award along with Clinical and Academic Excellence Awards. Caroline received her Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience and Women’s Studies from Syracuse University and completed a post-baccalaureate at New York University. Caroline previously worked as a midwife at Coney Island Hospital servicing a diverse population of patients. She was recently awarded the 2016 Outstanding Preceptor Award from the American College of Nurse Midwives. Caroline thoroughly enjoys her work in obstetrics and gynecology and is also involved in training student midwives.
