After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Rhodes College in Memphis, Dr. Hawkins completed medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She went on to complete her medical residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Tipton, Tennessee.
Dr. Hawkins is board-certified in Family Medicine and is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians and the Bluff City Medical Society. She is skilled in developing customized treatment plans for acute injuries and illnesses as well as chronic diseases like diabetes, asthma, and arthritis. I'm always pleased with the service I receive. They truly care about their patients and their well-being. In a day and time when it's so hard to find physicians that care I'm glad to have them on my side.
Mr. Sloan is very thorough. He actually sits and talks to you. He ask the right questions to determine whats gong on with you. He also follows up on your progress. I'm a diabetic and he is very knowledgeable on my disease and works with my endocrinologist to ensure I'm well taken care of. He's one of the good guys.
Great however I was asked if I needed any prescriptions and I said no and I got a prescription for far Seaga which I have been given in the past and couldn’t take because it cost too much so I would’ve liked to have discussed that. No big deal though

Dr Hawkins is the best doctor ever! She listens, she cares! Her compassion for her patients is clearly evidenced by her attention to each and every little detail, at least it is for me. I’m sure she’s the very same with ALL of her patients. I love her and I wouldn’t see anyone else. I drive all the way to Holly Springs from Southaven just so I can see Dr Hawkins when I need healthcare. She has been my doctor for 14 years. Saying she’s the “very best” doesn’t say enough.
