Horrifying experience I came in for a Bartholin’s cyst incision and drainage and to have a word catheter placed. Even after being numbed, I had 9/10 pain throughout the entire process and expressed this, asking for short breaks. The doctor came across as impatient and annoyed by my pain. He went through three catheters- from what I heard, they didn’t have the correct syringe to inflate the balloon properly. The staff had to leave the room and come back multiple times mid-procedure trying to find the correct one. When he finally got the third catheter in and inflated I was crying in pain. He asked if I could tolerate it or not, and I asked for a minute to take a breath. He then pulled out the catheter to “show me” the amount it was inflated- did he just yank that out of me without deflating it first?? He then packed the open cyst with gauze instead. He turned and left the room without speaking to me. I was given NO follow-up instructions or after care. Blood was all over me and dripping off the table onto the floor. I was in tears limping out of the clinic. I had to call the next day to ask what to do with the gauze inside me and the nurse said it would “fall out on its own in a couple of days”. It’s now 4 days later and the gauze is painfully stuck inside of the cyst, bleeding every time I even try to slightly pull it out, even after soaking in a bath. It has an awful smell, and the pain is way worse now than it ever was before the procedure. Tylenol around the clock does not touch the pain. Update: I saw a different gynaecologist today who was able to remove the gauze, and was not able to place a word catheter as she explained to me the incision that this doctor made is on the outside, instead of on the inside where it should be. She pointed out my labia was cut from this incision as well, which I now understand is the culprit for the sharp and burning pain I have been in since. I wish I had never stepped foot in that clinic.
I was a first time patient getting my IUD out. The Dr. was very comforting because of how scared I was. He had it out in 5-10 seconds. Very comforting and adept in all areas.

I was referred to Dr Marinescu by a friend for OB care since I had a terrible experience with my prior OB. I can honestly say I am so happy I went to Dr Marinescu. Unfortunately I had a miscarriage and my pregnancy ended early on but Dr Marinescu bedside manner and how he communicate’s made it easier on me. I tried again and successfully conceived which again I went to Dr Marinescu for OB care. This pregnancy was such a breeze. Every appointment with him was easy. He delivered my baby and took great care of me since I did have a complication during pregnancy. All I have to say is 10 out of 10 from all visits to delivery! Dr is truly a wonderful person and an exceptional MD.

Dr. Marinescu is the best of the best. He’s professional, knowledgeable, kind, caring, and trustworthy. He listens to your concerns and desires and tries his very best to meet them while still maintaining safety as a priority. He’s delivered 2 babies for me - my first via emergency c-section and my second via scheduled c-section. I wanted a vaginal delivery for both, however c-sections were the deliveries that were needed to make sure my babies and I were safe and healthy. Dr. Marinescu took the best care of us and made the best out of a lesser desired situation. We are all healthy and thriving thanks to his amazing care. The office staff are kind, welcoming, warm, caring, and professional. They always do their best to make you feel comfortable and cared for while you’re in the office. They help with any needs you may have and do with speed, excellence, and a smile. I can’t say enough positives about Dr. Marinescu and OBGYN-Care. I recommend them to anyone in need of a gynecologist.
Attentive, competent and caring!
I was a first time patient. Dr came in did the annual check up fast but didn’t take the time to really discuss my concerns or even get to know me a bit better being a new patient to this office. I was very excited about going to a gyno who has such wonderful reviews but unfortunately didn’t see these reviews come to light with my own interaction. Will not be returning and will be looking for a new gyno in the area .
