Cathy Buiten, NP

Christian based, direct pay, family practice. Cathy began her career in the MICU of Henry Ford Health Center Detroit. After 6 years she acquired certification as an Advance Practice Nurse in Family Practice and later in Lifestyle Medicine, where she has practiced for more than 26 years in a variety of settings. In this new venture as an independent provider, she aims to use the strongest evidence-based modalities to both treat and reverse acute and chronic conditions. Her belief is that lifestyle medicine can be implemented in 90% of illnesses while medicines and other modalities are useful in the short-term. Each patient should have a choice in the care they receive based on well reasoned options.
