Love my surgeon! I was overly stressed out on my way in and everybody was like, no worries. Even the cashier at the salad bar knew his name when I said I had the surgery and was so excited for me. In general, I don't remember anytShow morehing although I I can pull up some detail. No pain at all leaving the hospital. I needed an ice machine to circulate cold water and the out of Network vendor of a fancy machine, it did not work out at all. My friend recommended Access Alaska in Fairview, 1217 East 10th. They have plenty on stock of basic circulating machines that they loan out to the community. I raced to town and got one and mailed it back when I was done. It worked great. The pain pills were effective and they don't get you high. I found the pill with acetaminophen to be more effective. No constipation at all. And initially the pain was uncomfortable but not unbearable. And I found a decreased by 50% every 2 weeks. I only took one or two pain pills per day when I took them. It's been 4 months and I literally taking it easy easy. My recovery is fantastic. The physical therapy team is well informed and communicating with the doctor.
From my first appointment for this left shoulder throughout my visits with Dr Haggerty and his staff, I was treated well. They worked hard to make this surgery successful for me. This is my second time having surgery with him and Show morehis staff. Nothing is overlooked. They take their time to listen. I would and have highly recommend them to everyone. My experience at the hospital was really good too. From the front desk check in to the last wheeling out to my daughter’s car after surgery, kind, caring and thoughtful people. I met some great staff at our hospital. Praying for each individual that would care for me was an honor. I’m truly grateful for the care I have received from Charles Haggerty and his team.

He was very reassuring, informative, and didn’t make me feel rushed. Marisol, the same.
Very happy
Excellent care on all levels!
I was treated as if I mattered and my concerns were addressed. Polite, professional, direct, clear, and understandable. He asked meaningful questions AND LISTENED. I would absolutely recommend this office staff and doctor.
Dr. Haggerty has always taken the time to make sure all my questions were answered and that if I had any issues he would try to help with those. He referred me to physical therapy and those therapists know what they are doing. I know that he reads the reports from them and he discusses where we go from here forward. I feel I am in excellent hands with this man.
Dr Haggerty cares about his patients and I sure like how he explains stuff to you so you understand it.
I found that my care was very thorough and professional. Dr. Haggerty has been very informative and instrumental in my Clavicular fx care. I'm grateful for his knowledge and how he articulates what I can and cannot do in order to heal my injury. Total trust in his treatment of me. Thank you all so very much for my pleasant experience moving forward.
Shoulder surgery went well, recovery was easy and I now have amazing agility. Well done Dr Haggerty and staff
Everything is wonderful, very happy
Top notch care, professional, and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Fantastic surgeon. Best side manners.
Everyone at the surgical center and the Pioneer peak team have been wonderful. I was treated well. They didn’t talk to me like I didn’t know anything and yeah, I don’t know what else to say except the service and the quality of treatment I received was excellent.
It was a great visit. Was able to get a plan together so I can have my shoulder surgery.

He was very caring and took his time explaining to me, and to my husband in McGrath on speaker phone, exactly what was going on with my shoulder. He answered all our questions and explained everything that the surgery would involve. Importantly, we were not rushed!

I received the best care. From initial appt to surgery to post-op. I highly recommend Dr Haggerty and his wonderful staff.
Dr Haggerty listens to me. He doesn’t pressure you to have surgery. He will list all your options and then help you decide which is best for you.
Personable. Easy to understand. Good at pictionary (drew the surgery on paper).
Had shoulder repair on August 1, 2025. Dr. Haggerty explained the damage, including drawing the injury to my shoulder, so that I could fully understand. Surgery went well, and follow up care has been thorough.
Always Professional and friendly staff
Very pleased with the results of my shoulder surgery. Dr. Haggerty has fixed both. I would highly recommend him.
Very professional and I appreciate the level of communication and willingness and patience to answer all of my questions.
Polite & professional. Quick service from check in, to seeing the doctor. Straight forward information and opinions. Good information on diagnosis and options, without the feeling of pressure to make hasty decisions.
