My appointment was for 1030. After checking in at the front desk I had about a forty five minute wait before seeing Dr. Harring. This was the first appointment with Dr. Harring. I was referred to Dr. Harring from my GP in North CShow morearolina. Dr. Harring is physician who communicates to you as a person. I’ve found my new cardiologist!! and I’m traveling from PSL. Dr. Harring’s nurse is fantastic as well. The amount of time that Dr. Harring and his nurse spent with me today explains the forty five minute wait that I had. Well worth it in my opinion!
From checking in to being called to seeing the doctor was a very short wait. The doctors assistant was checking on my blood pressure and EKG going over my medicines to asking me why I was there. After that the doctor came in and wShow moreent over everything that was going on. He checked me and made some suggestions to have further test. I was very happy with my appointment and the testing. Dr Harring made me feel better. And we will have answers soon. Thank you and your staff
Charles Harring III, MD, FACC, is a board certified cardiologist at South Palm Cardiovascular Associates in Delray Beach, Florida. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Harring graduated from Florida State University, majoring in biological sciences, and earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, followed by a cardiology fellowship at the University of South Florida. Dr. Harring’s training included proficiency in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac catheterization, with subspecialization in pacemaker and implantable defibrillator placement.
Upon completing his fellowship, Dr. Harring started working in private practice with Mid Carolina Cardiology in Charlotte, North Carolina. While working for one of the largest cardiology groups in the country, he maintained an invasive practice, performing all modalities of cardiovascular care. While Dr. Harring continued to battle all aspects of cardiovascular disease, he became attentive to catching diseases before events happened. It was at this time he was first exposed to the developing practice of preventive cardiology.
Dr. Harring joined the team at South Palm Cardiovascular Associates for social reasons, and his focus changed from a more non-invasive practice to prevention. As a clinical cardiologist, including echo and nuclear cardiology, he has developed extensive growth and training in the science of advanced lipidology. His memberships in the National Lipid Association and American Society of Preventative Cardiologists have continued to form a backbone for his continued education.
His future direction and desires include developing an integrative cardiology practice, incorporating not only traditional allopathic teachings but also blending functional and holistic approaches.

When you come to office, you’re ready feel welcome. It’s like a family and my doctor is the best. He is so sweet, smart and whatever I ask him he gave all explanation so I understand what to do, and I am satisfied. I will never change my doctor. I wish them happiness and health.
Dr. Harring is a wonderful physician and keeps me going strong. Even though the waiting room was full, they got to me very quickly. I would definitely recommend the practice to anyone I know.
