Cheryl Reed, MD, is a board-certified family practice physician with more than 30 years of experience at Pinnacle Health Group in Tampa, Florida. As a family practice physician, she has the opportunity to get to know her patients well and treat them with personalized care through all stages of life.
Dr. Reed completed her undergraduate studies at John Hopkins University in Baltimore. She then went on to study medicine at New York University School of Medicine in New York City. She completed her residency at the Medical Center of Beaver County in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Reed became a family physician because she liked the idea of treating the whole family throughout their lives. She was recently awarded Vitals.com’s Patient Choice Award, an honor bestowed on physicians who receive near-perfect patient reviews. She’s also been voted onto the “Best Doctors in Tampa Bay” list several times.
When she’s not at work, Dr. Reed enjoys volunteering in her community, watching movies, and relaxing with her husband of 22 years and their son.

First time using the virtual appt. Went well
So far, I'm pleased with Dr. Reed. On March 2bd my nephrologist faxed over my current lab slips, with instructions. I hope that I receive feedback from Dr. Reed, concerning next step.
Always a great experience with Dr Reed. She takes time to really listen to you and seems genuine in her concerns for your health. Very assuring to have this kind of confidence in your care.
My appt was for 3pm. We arrived on time but then waited 35 minutes to see the doctor.
Front office staff are great! Dr Reed is too.
I saw Dr Reed at Pinnacle Health, I am an established patient without an appointment. I had a complaint about visible blood in my urine (gross hematuria) with no pain. After we discussed my symptoms and Dr Reed reviewed my chart she arranged to have me go to an imaging center and then to a urologist. I do appreciate Dr. Reed’s proactive response and sense of urgency.

What a pleasure to visit a doctors office where everyone seem to really love their job. I was greeted and welcomed to the practice by multiple employees, my appointment began on time, and I’ve never had a physician take so much time to learn about my medical history and address all of my concerns. So exited and happy to have found this team.
Dr Reed was very kind and explained my blood work to me and also talked to me regarding my ongoing symptoms with covid. Very thorough.
Perfect experience. Want you to be sure you change my weight today on my chart to 223. It was not 229. That was last appt. I am trying to lose weight and want to keep an accurate record at my Drs. Would appreciate the change to the record.
