My whole experience with AZ Choice Foot and Ankle from Initial Appointment to my recent Post Op Surgery appointment has been totally outstanding. Dr. Suykerbuyk and his staff have been a pleasure to work with. I required work reShow morelease forms to be filled out prior to surgery and I was able to communicate with just one staff member, I turned them in and picked them up when completed. Try that one with some of these large medical facilities that do the same work as Dr. Suykerbuyk. When surgery day came, I realized that I'd selected the correct Doctor for my foot surgery. The Hospital staff for my case kept telling me that they really like Dr. Suykerbuyk and he is a good Doctor. If you should be needing foot or ankle surgery I highly recommend Dr. Suykerbuyk and his staff. This single doctor office will give you that personalization that I thought was a thing of the past. I was wrong, it still exists.
I have been to this doctor twice now in the last few years and he will always be my foot and ankle doctor. I’ve never had to wait for the doctor to see me like other doctors that make you wait up front forever so I feel like he’sShow more respectful of his patients time also. He is always so nice and has always been correct in his diagnosis of whatever is wrong with his patients.So to sum up my experience with this doctor I would say he’s probably been the best doctor I’ve ever seen of all my doctors and I’m 63 years old.

Dr. Suykerbuyk received his undergraduate degree in biology from Hillsdale College in Michigan and his medical degree from The Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Illinois. He completed a residency in forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery at the Carl T. Hayden VA in Phoenix, Arizona, and began practicing in Gilbert shortly thereafter.
Dr. Suykerbuyk maintains the highest levels of accreditation and pursues ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in the medical field. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is board certified in foot surgery. Quick to get the appointment and very professional.
I had mybunion repair surgery. I was very apprehensive but Dr. Suykerbuyk was understanding and did his best to listen and alleviate my fears. His front desk employees are the best and were very efficient throughout the process. I went back to work after 3 months and am able to complete (albeit a little slower) my normal tasks. All in all, I would recommend...:)

Great experience
I saw Dr. Suykerbuyk specifically because he specializes in Lapiplasty for bunion correction. He has performed this procedure on both of my feet and I could not be more pleased with the results. He is super easy to get an appointment with and you can tell he cares about his patient’s outcomes. I would recommend him to anyone looking for podiatry care.

Dr. Suykerbuyk listened to my questions and answered them while I was at my first appt. He gave me his honest opinion about whether I should get foot surgery at this time. He explained how he would go about the surgery that I need and he also provided me with information about orthotics and shoes. Lastly, he treated my plantar's calluses, which I appreciate very much.
