Christy Kersey, NP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner and specializes in venous treatment and procedures. She is devoted to serving patients at Centers for Pain Control and Vein Care in Hobart, LaPorte, Merrillville, Munster and Valparaiso, Indiana.
Christy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Purdue University. After 13 years of cardiac nursing at Munster Community Hospital, she made the decision to return to school to further her education. She went on to receive her Master’s Degree from Purdue University Northwest as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining Centers for Pain Control and Vein Care, she provided preoperative and postoperative care, conducted independent consultations/ assessments, diagnosis, and treatments for vascular conditions. She specialized in Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy.
At Centers for Pain Control and Vein Care, Christy looks forward to providing excellent care to her patients on a daily basis. She is committed to expanding her knowledge and skills to be able to provide the most advanced treatment to patients. In addition to her board certification, Christy is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. She is also an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Christy Kersey, NP was p professional and compassionate very detailed in her approach to help my condition. She gave me many measurements, careful testing, and went over realistic goal for a plan of care to treat me. I was included in the procedures and moving forward made aware of what expectations we set. She is an amazing professional and made me feel like she was advocating for me!

I’ve had multiple procedures because of the severity of my spinal problems. Today’s visit was with the care provider Katina. As always she was attentive to my needs., She was caring and pleasant. I most definitely recommend this facility and this caregiver.

Christy is the ultimate Professional she and her staff are exceptional. I just lost my Wife and struggling big time and she is so kind and understanding along with being a superb technician and talked me through the whole process is definitely a top notch person.
Staff made me comfortable as I waited in the room with pillows as I needed to lay on my side due to back pain. Katina was pleasant and professional.
