Cindy Derequito, APRN

Cindy Derequito received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Florida and went on to complete an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida Atlantic University. Afterward, she worked as a nurse at an acute inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility for seven years. Cindy Derequito then completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the University of Florida and joined Ventre Medical Associates in August 2020. She is Suboxone certified to treat opioid use disorder. Originally from the Dominican Republic, but having spent most of her life in Florida, Cindy Derequito is bilingual in Spanish and English. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters–especially in the sunshine at the beach and while traveling.
