Mrs. Cindy Dunkle, MSN, PMNHP-BC

Cindy is empathetic, open-minded and non-judgmental. She believes there is a strong connection between mental and physical health, and that together positive changes can be made through finding practical and achievable ways to help each person reach their goals. People are the experts in recognizing their needs, so she encourages them to be active participants in their care through collaboration and by validating their feelings and lived experiences. Cindy studied at Ohio University where she initially received a Master of Science Degree in Nursing Education and was the mental health instructor at Hocking College for 6 years before going back to pursue a Post-Master’s Degree in Nursing, specializing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Ohio University. She has experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings.
