Craig Shapiro, DO

Craig Shapiro, DO, is a respected ear, nose, and throat specialist serving patients at the Ear, Nose, Throat, and Sinus Center of South Florida, located in Hollywood, Florida. With decades of experience in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery, he brings extensive clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the ears, nose, sinuses, throat, and related structures.

Dr. Shapiro earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida before receiving his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Southeastern University of Health Sciences in North Miami Beach, Florida. He completed a rotating internship and general surgery residency before completing his otolaryngology–head & neck surgery residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. His postgraduate surgical training included rotations in head and neck surgical oncology, facial plastic surgery, sinus surgery, facial paralysis, pediatric otolaryngology, and otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at hospitals throughout Pennsylvania, New York, and Michigan.

Since 2023, Dr. Shapiro has practiced with the Ear, Nose, Throat, & Sinus Center of South Florida. He previously spent nearly 17 years with South Florida ENT Associates and nearly a decade with Southeastern Ear, Nose, Throat Sinus Center.

In addition to patient care, Dr. Shapiro has served as a principal investigator and sub-investigator for clinical trials with Cenexel/Research Center of America since 2021. He is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology and is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery.
