More than 15 years ago, Cristyn Watkins, MD, recognized the synergy between inner health and outer beauty and founded an integrative, physician-led practice to help patients look better, feel better, and thrive.
Medicine has never been simply a profession for her. It has been a calling shaped by her lived experience with complex chronic illness and the frustration of seeking answers when everything looks “normal,” yet something still feels off. That perspective drives her pursuit of knowledge, innovation, and better options for herself and her patients.
As a family medicine physician first, Dr. Watkins built aNu to bridge preventive health, advanced aesthetics, regenerative therapies, and functional wellness. aNu was created from real life—the needs she experienced, gaps in traditional care, and patients who wanted answers, options, transparency, and connection. The aNu lotus logo reflects her philosophy of rising from adversity into renewal and resilience.
Board-certified in Family Medicine with advanced certification in functional, metabolic, and nutrition medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, she brings a whole-person, evidence-guided approach to care.
At aNu, patients receive comprehensive yet highly personalized care across advanced aesthetics, regenerative medicine, and functional wellness—including epigenetics, nutrigenomics, healthy-aging strategies, hormone and metabolic support, nutrient and GI evaluation, advanced detoxification, and support for TBI, mental health, and memory.
Recognized as an expert and pioneer in her community, she developed protocols well ahead of the broader medical community’s embrace of wellness, functional medicine, and nutrigenomics—often creating them herself when conventional options fell short.
Her approach is simple yet rare: listen first, look deeper, ask more questions, and create a plan for the whole person.
Her mission is to help patients feel healthy, confident, and at home in their bodies again.
