Dr. Blanco is the best. Especially with doctors in this field, especially specialists, you don’t find doctors like Dr. Blanco and the entire staff at the practice who treat patients who are in severe chronic pain with the seriousnShow moreess and care, excellent bedside manner, professionalism and excellence. And Dr. Blanco is so empathic… Whether it just be listening to what I’m saying, or doing a procedure that may cause some pain and/or anxiety and Dr. Blanco pauses on the procedure to reassure me “everything is going well and we’re almost done, just breathe you’re doing great. What’s your favorite Star Wars movie? etc.” and get me calm (which may take less than a minute) then finishes the procedure with me feeling better. Not all doctors do this. And at the same time he is a perfectionist. So I would have to rate Dr. Blanco as the perfect pain management specialist for his excellence as a doctor and as a human being. And every single person who works there is incredible at there jobs and as people. Special thanks to Hope for fine tuning this last appointment on procedure day so everything worked out perfectly. 5 stars to Dr. Blanco and all staff in practice.

Cy Blanco, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist specializing in interventional pain management at Florida Pain Management Institute in Delray Beach and Boynton Beach, Florida. Dr. Blanco earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, before graduating with a master’s degree in biology from New York University. He went on to complete his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx.
After graduating, Dr. Blanco completed his internship at Beth Israel Medical Center and his residency in anesthesiology at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital. He then furthered his training with a fellowship in pain management at the Manhattan Center for Pain Management through St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital.
In addition to his medical training, Dr. Blanco has been extensively published in various medical journals and given presentations on subjects in his field. He is fluent in Spanish, has a working knowledge of French, and enjoys treating patients of all backgrounds. Dr. Blanco is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists.

Welcoming friendly office. Dr. Blanco entered with a nice smile and a good handshake. That’s important to me. Dr. was knowledgeable and took care of a fix to help alleviate my pain. Fingers crossed.
