I was greatly hesitant to take my kids out due to to the new Orange County statistics but at home remote learning had exponentially increased screen time for my children. They even displayed some signs of vision stress. The appoiShow morentments were easy to make online. However, daily my fears grew as I listened and read the news. Dr. Bryan Ma took my phone call the day of the appointments and listened to my concerns. Either he has an amazing poker face or truly set aside all his concerns of a triple last minute cancellation to focus on the concerns and needs of a mom. He explained all the new routines he had implemented in response to the pandemic. At the appointment his authentic concern and responsibility for his patients and staff were evident in how all the changes had already been incorporated into a seamless, sanitized no contact, routine without losing any of his brilliant, caring, personal, and highly attentive care that he gives to all his customers. Thank you for helping me fulfill my duty as a mom and conscientious member of Orange through these unsettling times.
I chose Dr. Ma based on his stellar reviews on Yelp, so I had high expectations during my first visit with him. Upon entering his office, Andrew welcomed me and started the initial vision tests right at my appointment time. Then IShow more moved to the examination room, where I met Dr. Ma. I was there to get two new glasses, so Dr. Ma listened to my annoyances about my existing ones and made recommendations on how these issues can be avoided with the new glasses. His "bedside manner" was exemplary! With my new prescriptions in hand, Andrew patiently walked me through the many frames before I settled on two of them. Both Dr. Ma and Andrew are consummate professionals, and very deserving of their 5-star Yelp review.

From there, he went to the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) in Fullerton, California, where he graduated cum laude. During his education at SCCO, he worked a diverse externship schedule including the Optometric Center of Los Angeles, the Veterans Affair Health Clinic in Las Vegas, and the Wellish Vision Institute in Las Vegas.
Aside from his deep dedication to caring for patients’ eyes, Dr. Ma spends his free time cycling, running, snowboarding, and playing with his two dogs. He also speaks Vietnamese and clinical Spanish.

Dr. Ma and his staff are very efficient, friendly and quick. There isn’t a long wait time once you arrive. The staff is very helpful with the insurance & letting you know what your out of pocket expenses will be. The entire team is wonderful.
Best service you could ask for. Dr. Ma and staff are very helpful, explains everything in a way that you will be able to understand and they always greet you when you walk in the door with a smile even though they have on mask. The mask is for there protection as well as yours and I appreciate that. My drive is worth it.
