On Friday, May 5th, I was admitted to Emergency at a hospital in Manhattan for a medical issue that Dr. Daniel Klein, my General Practitioner and I had been addressing. As soon as I was attended to by the Emergency Room DoctoShow morer assigned to me I called Dr. Klein's office and spoke with Lisa who immediately relayed my message to Dr. K. I have always been impressed by the level of care over the past 25 years, but my experience with the follow-up care by Dr. Klein and Lisa during the emergency room visit and when I got home was positively overwhelming. On my way home, Lisa called on behalf of Dr. K. to enquire about the results of the ER visit and to say that Dr. K will meet with me via Telehealth when I got home. About 15 minutes after I was home, I was speaking with Dr. Klein who explained in detail the ER Discharge Report including recommendations that I make an appointment to be examined by a specialist. Within 10 minutes after we ended the Telehealth meeting, his office had notified me that they scheduled an appointment with the specialist for two working days after. I appreciated this kind gesture so much because I was not able to do it at the time. I am pleased to share my latest experience with Dr. K. and his staff. Thank you Dr. K. JRB
Dr. Klein had his back facing me except when he used the stethoscope to check my heart and lungs. The rest of the time he stood and input data on his computer. He did not allow time for me to ask questions. He left the examinationShow more room quickly and I thought he would be returning to continue the examination as I had questions that I wanted to address with him such as a referral for physical therapy for my left wrist and hand which I fractured when I fell and was unconscious, unsteady balance and walking with a cane after several TIAs, etc. During my first visit with him on July 25, 2023 I asked him about getting physical therapy for my left wrist and hand and he told me, “Next visit.” So almost 7 months went by with no physical therapy and on this last visit on Wednesday 2/21/24 he failed to address this problem again and didn’t allow time for me to ask questions such as the ones mentioned above as well as lots of hair loss

Dr. Klein is able to speak multiple languages with his patients at East Side Primary Medical Care, including English, Hungarian and Tagalog. With each patient, he hopes to provide caring support, making sure they have enough time to have all of their questions answered and deliver the best care possible for their concerns.

My visit yesterday was for my second dose of my Shingles shot! You may wait a while to see Doctor Klein but it’s worth the wait. The staff is great.

The Service I Received Was Amazing
Amazing doctor. Kind, thorough, professional, knowledgeable, super smart. I needed to see someone last minute for pre-op clearance and he accommodated me no questions asked for a first time visit and gave me excellent advice on additional health matters as well. Will try to switch to Dr. Klein from my current primary doctor because he’s that good.
