About Dr. Daniel Mullins, MD

Daniel Mullins, MD, FACS, offers his patients unparalleled expertise in medical care. As a partner at the Colon and Rectal Surgeons of Greater Hartford, the largest dedicated colon and rectal surgery group in New England, with offices in Bloomfield and South Windsor, Connecticut, Dr. Mullins uses cutting-edge techniques to resolve a wide range of health concerns.  Dr. Mullins strives to offer each patient discrete and compassionate care. 

Dr. Mullins completed his undergraduate degree at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. Later, he attended New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, and performed his residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington. Dr. Mullins deepened his expertise in colorectal surgery through a fellowship at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

Today, Dr. Mullins delivers care to a diverse group of patients at Colon and Rectal Surgeons of Greater Hartford. He is proud to be a part of the only practice in Connecticut that offers a colon and rectal surgery teaching residency. 

At the practice, Dr. Mullins is known for his friendliness and exceptional bedside manner. He guides his patients through the diagnostic and treatment process, providing ongoing support. Dr. Mullins knows that patients have many questions about their treatment. He strives to help each patient thoroughly understand every aspect of their care. 

Dr. Mullins is board certified in general surgery and colon and rectal surgery.  He is also a member of the American College of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. Throughout his career, Dr. Mullins has made significant contributions to the medical community. He is an active speaker and presenter at national medical conferences. Dr. Mullins looks forward to providing medical care to patients in greater Hartford, Connecticut, for many years to come.
