Daniel Nemeth, MD, is the owner and an interventional spine specialist at Signe Spine & Rehab, LLC serving the Charleston community in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He was trained in a conservative approach to physical medicine and spine care, and he can appropriately recognize when surgical intervention is necessary. He believes in a diagnostic approach in order to find the exact cause of your problem. Dr. Nemeth's conservative approach enables him to provide targeted therapy so that the maximal benefit can be achieved.
Dr. Nemeth grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan in Northwest Indiana. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. From there, he attended medical school at St. Matthew's University on Grand Cayman. Dr. Nemeth completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, Illinois. It was there that he developed an interest in spine care and in performing interventional spinal procedures. He went on to complete an Interventional Spine Fellowship in Phoenix, Arizona at The Orthopedic Clinic Association (TOCA).
Dr. Nemeth is a board-certified physiatrist who has been trained to become an expert in the field of spine care and to master interventional techniques throughout the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Dr. Nemeth founded Signe Spine & Rehab, LLC in October 2014.
Away from the office, Dr. Nemeth enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, two children, and their golden doodle, Cayman.

I appreciated Dr Nemeth listening to my concerns and questions and he was able to develop a treatment plan after reviewing my most recent MRI and X-ray that he took.
Got right in. Dr Nemeth is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend him to family and friends
Our last appointment was disappointing to say the least. We waited 40 minutes and when the Dr. entered the room he was not prepared with the MRI results. He left the room to read the report which we felt was rushed. His comments are contradictory to the written report stating there may be a fracture all the way through but the report states there is no body fracture. Perhaps he should have recommended a CT scan to know for sure rather than allowing a young boy to not know if he has a fracture or not. His bed side manner was vague and not helpful to understand what the future holds. We left the appointment with no clear direction other than brace another 4 weeks and then he will give a release.

I have searched for help for one year. Finally, my primary care Kate Kreber referred me to Dr. Nemeth for nerve pain. Yesterday, after an MRI, US and an EMG, he found where the nerve pain was located. He did a guided steroid injection via US machine, and last night was the first night since April 14th that pain didn’t wake me. From the front desk ladies greeting you warmly, and the medical assistants taking your info, this was a pleasant experience. A team of knowledge without jumping to do anything extreme before knowing what problem I had. I strongly recommend this practice and this team of FAB people. Thank you!
