Have needed Dr. Nemeth on two different occasions. The first instance, I was referred due to chronic Morton neuromas metatarsal, and podiatrist considered a nerve test in my legs & feet. The initial x-ray, Dr. Nemeth discovered Show moreand pointed out I had a curve in my back, I had never known about; and one hip was higher than the other. The nerve test was also revealing, in different strength in my foot lift, and toe lifts… Now, I’m returning with possible herniated disc, with chronic “drop foot” one side…. and Dr. Nemeth has quickly ordered inflammation meds, lined up MRI, PT, and follow up to review the MRI. His initial thoughts are positive, with med control to resolve - so he has already made me comfortable, feeling better about long term recovery, and very conservative treatment to remedy injury symptoms!! Thank you Signe Spine / Dr. Nemeth !!

Daniel Nemeth, MD, is the owner and an interventional spine specialist at Signe Spine & Rehab, LLC serving the Charleston community in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He was trained in a conservative approach to physical medicine and spine care, and he can appropriately recognize when surgical intervention is necessary. He believes in a diagnostic approach in order to find the exact cause of your problem. Dr. Nemeth's conservative approach enables him to provide targeted therapy so that the maximal benefit can be achieved.
Dr. Nemeth grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan in Northwest Indiana. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. From there, he attended medical school at St. Matthew's University on Grand Cayman. Dr. Nemeth completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, Illinois. It was there that he developed an interest in spine care and in performing interventional spinal procedures. He went on to complete an Interventional Spine Fellowship in Phoenix, Arizona at The Orthopedic Clinic Association (TOCA).
Dr. Nemeth is a board-certified physiatrist who has been trained to become an expert in the field of spine care and to master interventional techniques throughout the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Dr. Nemeth founded Signe Spine & Rehab, LLC in October 2014.
Away from the office, Dr. Nemeth enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, two children, and their golden doodle, Cayman.

Dr Nemeth, is rare. He connects with his patients with empathy and compassion. He really makes the efforts to understand what I am feeling by actively listening to the patient. He gives his recommendations , but allows the patient to help in the final decision. He is not one that just shoves medication in you and moves on to the next patient t. He is a truly genuine .

Dr. Nemeth and his staff are the only ones in town that I trust with my back!! I have been a patient for several years. From the moment I step in the office I am always greeted with a super friendly hello and am offered coffee. Xray technician,medical assistants, the other doctors & PA are all so AMAZING.

Great personality & very knowledgeable and excellent support staff
Dr Nemeth has a friendly and approachable manner as he interacts with patients. His staff are professional and efficient. Today was busy in the injection suite, but staff remained focused, moving patients thru yet never making me (as a patient) feel rushed or ignored. I highly recommend this office.
I appreciated Dr Nemeth listening to my concerns and questions and he was able to develop a treatment plan after reviewing my most recent MRI and X-ray that he took.

Our last appointment was disappointing to say the least. We waited 40 minutes and when the Dr. entered the room he was not prepared with the MRI results. He left the room to read the report which we felt was rushed. His comments are contradictory to the written report stating there may be a fracture all the way through but the report states there is no body fracture. Perhaps he should have recommended a CT scan to know for sure rather than allowing a young boy to not know if he has a fracture or not. His bed side manner was vague and not helpful to understand what the future holds. We left the appointment with no clear direction other than brace another 4 weeks and then he will give a release.
