My visit and experience with Dr Norman and his staff were wonderful. Dr. Norman has all the facts at his fingertips. he was imperative about what and why I needed the equipment immediately. I was however very disappointed with KadShow moreience Health. I am a medical provider of durable medical equipment yet not the CPAP I needed. Kadience has sent multiple wrong supplies, over billed me and my medicare and insurance for multiple items and did not seem to understand the severity of my condition. Nor did they recognize how urgent it was to start this process immediately. I started my journey with Kadience on Tuesday November 6,2023 and by Saturday November 11th 2023, it is still not completed. I offered to drive to any facility to accommodate Kadience as the importance of me not having sleep apnea, ventricular arrhythmia thus a second stroke was imperative.
The office is run very efficiently. Dr. Norman's interview of me was very incisive. He immediately zeroed in on the geometry of my lower jaw as a likely cause of snoring. He also will have me sleep over at the lab to check for sleShow moreep apnea. Some of the things he said makes me eager to learn more. Hopefully, improving my sleep quality will make it easier for me to deal with my other health issues.
Daniel Norman, MD, is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine, and is the Medical Director at Santa Monica Sleep Disorders Center. He provides treatment options for a wide variety of conditions including snoring, insomnia, obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, parasomnias, and more.
Dr. Norman is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in neuroscience and graduated summa cum laude. From there, he attended University of California, Irvine College of Medicine, where he was again recognized for his academic excellence with an Alpha Omega Alpha distinction and acceptance to the National Dean's List. He then completed residency training in Internal Medicine, and a dedicated fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Harvard, and a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at UC San Diego.
Through his studies, Dr. Norman came to understand the impact sleep had on a person’s health, and developed an interest in the effective treatment of sleep disorders. Dr. Norman has been on the forefront of sleep medicine, as a principal investigator in numerous research studies, a lecturer at UCLA and at various national meetings, and an author of over 20 abstracts, book chapters, and scientific articles in peer reviewed journals.
