Dario Lapoma, PMHNP-DNP

I am a licensed psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) located in Portland, OR. I offer psychotherapy and medication management to adults of all ages and backgrounds. My practice is relationally focused and inspired by various evidence-based frameworks, including Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have a careful approach to prescribing medications, and I believe that a holistic treatment plan leads to deeper recovery. As a practitioner, I believe that our wellbeing rests upon many factors. Our social communities, professional lives, creative pursuits, and physical health all play a part. So too do our strategies for responding to the challenges life throws our way. Growth and healing can be very challenging. I maintain that they can also be joyful processes of self-respect and empowerment. I look forward to joining with you on your path.
