Darrell has by far been the best therapist I’ve had so far. He gives it to me straight and doesn’t sugarcoat things, which is exactly how I like it. Mr. Benko blends holistic, person-centered care with a gift for spotting patterns and offering precise solutions. “Who’s the boss here?” he asks, reminding me I have a voice in my care. Unlike providers who rush, he takes time to listen, respects my autonomy, and works beside me, paso a paso. If you value a provider who thoughtfully challenges you rather than just agrees, he’s wonderful. He sees the whole person, not just symptoms. One of the best psychiatric providers I’ve had- highly recommend
One of the things I appreciate most about him is how he genuinely takes the time to listen. I never feel rushed or like I’m just another appointment. He makes me feel heard, understood, and comfortable talking about my concerns. He has a way of making you feel reassured without minimizing what you’re going through. He’s professional, honest, and compassionate, and you can tell that he genuinely cares about his patients and takes pride in what he does.

Mr. Benko has always been a compassionate and caring mental health practitioner, and despite a personal crisis, made sure to be available and responsive to requests. Even documentation, he's diligent and works with patients to meet their needs, and guides patient's towards understanding their goals and breaking things down realistically. I also always enjoy learning more about mechanisms of action and the science of it all, and he's an expert in this area too!

I’m very grateful for the care and support I’ve received from my psychiatrist. He takes the time to listen, understand my concerns, and make me feel heard and respected. I appreciate how patient, compassionate, and professional he is, and I never feel judged when discussing difficult things. His guidance has made a positive difference for me, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and understanding psychiatrist.
It is obvious from the first visit that Mr. Benko is both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about mental health care. He is personable and genuinely excited to explain things in-depth, for those who are curious, and his approach to medicine demonstrates a degree of kindness and compassion that seems increasingly uncommon in the health sector. I couldn’t ask for someone better to talk to me during my hard ships , the insight and the knowledge he brings to me and my life is unmatched , we need more professionals like dr BENKO in the field , he is a diamond in the rough when it comes to mental health.
