I was quite surprised that we have made and started a treatment plan by the end of my first appointment. It's definitely something I'm not used to, especially when it comes to mental health. After starting new medication, I experienced some adverse side effects. I reached out via text and got an answer right away, along with tweaking my treatment plan. Mr. David Avila was great in helping me. He is clearly knowledgeable and reliable!

I am very grateful for David Avila’s help! When my 18 yr old son was first seen by him , my son was mentally declining. My son was just discharged from the psychiatric hospital and my son was so mentally lost due to psychosis/delusions . David was able to talk to my son and gain my son’s trust in the first visit. My son listens to David and is taking his meds now. He is doing better then i could have ever imagined in 2 months thanks to David’s help.

Although it is difficult to make an appointment, in large part because the phone system does not seem to work properly, I am grateful that David Avila makes an effort to get back to me when he realizes I am in the waiting room with no appointment. For the first time in 10 years I actually feel excited about the future. Mr. Avila actually listened to what I was saying and did try to brush off my wants or concerns. I have been struggling with what I feel is adult ADHD and he did shut me down when I expressed that to him. He listened and decided to start me off on a low does of medicine and I feel it actually WORKING! I am so thankful for him!
