Dr. Engler is very easy to talk to. Today was my first visit. My wife has been going to him for a couple of years and I have great expectations that he will be able to help with my allergies.
Excellent doctors and staff here. I’m always coming for my allergy cluster shots and other asthma related issues. I’m always taken care of, questions are answered, in and out of the appointment!!
David B. Engler, MD, FACAAI, FAAAAI is a board-certified allergist and immunologist who hails from Houston, Texas. He was recently voted Best Allergist/Immunologist in Houston by H Texas Magazine, an honor based on peer and reader voting, as well as a Super Doctor by Texas Monthly Magazine.
Dr. Engler is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Texas and a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he completed his medical degree, internship, and residency. He then completed his fellowship training in allergy and immunology at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas.
Dr. Engler served two terms on the Board of Regents of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and is a fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He also served as the chairman of the allergy and asthma specialty area of the Texas Medical Association. He has published several articles on allergies and allergy testing in national peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Engler is married and the father of two children. His wife has allergies and asthma, and both of his children have allergies. He is therefore truly able to empathize with the misery that can occur from undertreatment of these ailments.
Dr. Engler sees patients at the Fannin office on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. He speaks English and Spanish.
