About Dr. Dawn Goldstein, PMHNPBC

I am a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with expertise in mental health and substance use disorders across the lifespan, specializing in trauma, depression, and suicidality. I am also an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University, College of Nursing. My clinical practice started in 2014, as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner has been in a variety of settings, mainly serving vulnerable and margin populations, LGBTQ+, immigrants, Veterans, and uninsured individuals with psychiatric disorders in-person or through a telehealth platform. I received my PhD, and post-graduate certification in psychiatric mental health from the University of Arizona. Primary conditions that I treat include anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and substance use disorders providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy appointments
