Patrica she is so sweet, she took her time to explain everything, gave me constant reassurance and made me feel very comfortable, along with everybody else it was my first day so I’m not too familiar with all the names ( I’m bad with names) but everybody was an absolute pleasure. Very kind, very knowledgeable. I was scared and nervous because I’m going to be a first time mom but everybody made me feel really good and together with me. I look forward to my future appointments here at complete health care for women.
I have been a patient here since ‘06 as little adolescent girl,I have never been anywhere else because there was no need. Everyone there has been there a while so it like seeing an old family member or friend. Lastly,Nurse Practitioner Patricia Somera.. she is amazing!!! She is so knowledgeable and super helpful. She relieves all the stress of going to a doctor’s office. She always made what’s important and maybe scary for me seem just as important to her. Even when it isn’t. It takes a lot for everyone to be good people, genuine and caring medial professionals for so long. That consistency is why I will always be a patient.
Daxa Patel, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN and a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. As part of the team at Complete Healthcare for Women in Wellington, Florida, she provides patients with excellent care with a compassionate bedside manner.
Dr. Patel earned both her Bachelor of Science and her Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and joined Complete Healthcare for Women in 1999 after completing rigorous training in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Patel is a Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Florida Obstetricians and Gynecologists Society, the Palm Beach County Medical Association, the Palm Beach County Obstetricians and Gynecologists Society, and the William A. Little Obstetrical and Gynecological Society.
She also enjoys membership in the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, the Female Indian Physicians of Florida and the Palm Beach India Medical Association. She is a staff member at Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, Florida, and at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida, where she has served on the Medical Executive Committee and as well as the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, she serves on the Medical Board of Governors on the Central Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Patel is widely sought after in her practice for her skills in progressive women’s medicine and her focused and comforting care. Waiting time was minimal, staff is very pleasant and dr Patel is the best dr I ever had. Warm and friendly and I never felt rushed. She is willing to discuss everything health issue and give a good advice.
