I have been Dr. Dykema’s patient for a couple of years now. I can testify that she is one of the best doctors in town. Her approach towards me has been more of my nutrition rather than being a pill popper. I asked her once to Rx Show moreme weight loss pills and she declined my request. She stated, “I will not prescribe you something I know it’s not good for you.” I’m not going to lie, I left the office upset. But now that I look back I am grateful that she didn’t. Still a patient and still happy.
When I first came to Dr. Dykema my autoimmune system was a reck. I thought that my functional life was over. I got up and generally went back to bed within a few hours. Dr. Dykema has been my AME for at least 10 years now. She is always forthright when discussing medical concerns and never makes you feel like she’s rushing you through anything.
I have been seeing Dr. Dykema for over 10 years and I feel she is a very good doctor. She orders lots of blood work and then discusses that with you to determine a course of action. She is a wellness Dr. and her goal is to get you well and healthy by eating correctly, taking the proper medication and supplements and seeing various specialist if you need a speciality dr. She listens to your concerns. Her goal is to get you healthy by taking better care of your body.

Which long term only causes more illness. She isn’t quick to jump to conclusions. I think it’s rare to find a family practice M.D. with her experience and insight this day and age. If you take her advice you will have the best possible outcomes. That’s all anybody can hope for really. I trust her full heartedly.
