Dr. Deirdre Johnson Gundy is a board-certified gynecologist with over 30 years of experience. A graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine, she completed her residency at prestigious institutions including the Hahnemann University Hospital.
Dr. Deirdre Johnson Gundy previously served as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Drexel University College of Medicine and led the implementation of a minimally invasive gynecologic surgery program at Mercy Philadelphia Hospital in 2012. Most recently, she was an Assistant Clinical Professor at Stony Brook University Hospital. She is passionate about training the next generation of physicians and has mentored numerous residents in advanced surgical techniques.

NP Ye was explanatory, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Took time to make sure all of my concerns were met. Great experience.
She seems knowledgeable, but I didn’t like that she was in such a hurry. She seemed more concerned about rushing to her next patient than about listening to your questions and concerns.
I felt like Dr. Gundy listened to my concerns and she took the time to explain this. These qualities can be tough to find in a gynecologist so I appreciate it.

Dr Gundy answered all my questions and ordered all the tests I asked for.
The quickest most comfortable pap. I had other concerns with my menopause and she order all the proper testing, blood work and sonogram. Good bedside manners.

Jenny was very helpful to me yesterday and I sincerely appreciate it.
I felt very uneasy in the beginning since this was my first visit ever but Jenny was extremely patient and kind during the appointment. She constantly was asking if I was uncomfortable or wanted to stop at any point and explained the process as it was happening, showing me the devices she would use. Although the procedures are never pleasant, Jenny was extremely compassionate and gentle throughout.
She has been very helpful in trying to resolve my feminine area issues and already resolved one of them. She is tactful and professional and makes sure procedures are as painless as possible. I plan on continuing to see her as my gynecologist.
Dr. Schwartz is kind, respectful, and nurturing. Her business practices are thorough and efficient.

Everyone was so kind and helpful in the office. This was my first visit. The office is very clean and the decor pretty cool. Dr. Gundy is very relaxed and answered all questions and concerns. There was no waiting. I appreciate how easy this appointment was from start to finish. Thank you.
Jamie was absolutely incredible! I was in a lot of pain, and she asked a lot of questions to try and figure out the source of my pain. She also followed up with me the next day to make sure I was doing ok.
This is the very best experience I have had in a decade. The wait time was barely none and I felt exceptional attentiveness during my checkups as well as sound advice on maintaining my health between visits. I am very grateful to have found this doctor and the entire Elitegyn team. Thank you
