Dr. Menkedick is warm, friendly and compassionate and also very skilled and knowledgeable. I have tremors in my head & neck and he administered Botox injections into my neck muscles. I’ve had a lot of Botox injections for my tremoShow morers over the years, but they were not nearly as successful as when Dr. Menkedick administered them. He quickly zeroed in on the best dose and location for the injections and the tremors almost disappeared completely. I am currently seeking Dr. Menkedick’s expertise for neuropsych issues, i.e. short term memory loss, executive functioning challenges, and gait and incontinence issues. I was full of anxiety at my appointment last week because of my symptoms. He was reassuring, listened intently to my concerns, and laid out a plan for neuropsychometric testing and imaging of my brain. I have complete confidence in this plan so far. The office staff is friendly, professional and efficient. I had zero wait time once I arrived for my appointment. Highly recommend this practice and Dr. Menkedick.

Derek Menkedick, DO, is a dedicated and board-certified neurologist specializing in Multiple Sclerosis care, headache management, and electromyography (EMG). Dr. Menkedick studied at the University of Indianapolis in Indiana, where he double majored in biology and chemistry. He then pursued his osteopathic medicine doctorate at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Doctor Derek is knowledgeable and pleasant with an as equally knowledgeable and pleasant staff. I'm have RRMS in remission, and they help to keep me that way by giving proper medication, twice yearly checkups, and an MRI on a timely basis to help maintain my status without any issues. My doc & staff are Brain Superheros!

Everyone was friendly and informative. I thought the worse before I got there and after walking through the door I was very relaxed. My EMG went smoothly and with out a hitch.
