I am deeply dissatisfied with the care provided at this clinic. After presenting with progressive right arm weakness, hand numbness, and localized spine pain following a documented dural puncture trauma, the physician completely dismissed my structural symptoms. Instead of conducting a thorough diagnostic evaluation or ordering a necessary Cervical Spine MRI to evaluate nerve compression, the physician did the bare minimum by ordering only an EMG—openly treating it as a throwaway step before handing off a generic 'fibromyalgia' label (a condition he admitted he didn't even understand). To make matters worse, when I returned to the clinic to request necessary imaging, the physician refused to even step into the room to discuss my clinical care face-to-face. With my husband's impending military deployment and a toddler to care for, I dont have the luxury of time to wait for EMG results to then maybe get a cervical MRI. Being dismissed was not professional. Patients advocating for serious, progressive neurological symptoms deserve thorough diagnostic evaluations and basic professional respect, neither of which were provided here. I will be taking my care elsewhere.
