I’ve never been to a healthcare practitioner that wants to increase the strength of a medication SHE prescribed that is giving me horrific side affect including SUICIDE! I find that careless and dangerous ‼️
Dr Prevencio is Excellent. The communication she has with my daughter is amazing. Just the few words that are exchanged are right on.
This provider practices psychiatry in a highly paternalistic manner. Treatment decisions were presented as mandates rather than collaborative discussions, and continued access to medication was implied to be contingent on compliance with her personal treatment philosophy. This undermined patient autonomy and trust. Psychiatric care should be based on shared decision-making, not coercion.

She always is patient with my daughter, who can be trying and illogical, explains ideas in a way that my daughter understands and LISTENS.

I appreciate your lack of judgement however, I am confused as to why the most recent medication prescription was only offered this past visit rather than during previous visits when the issue the medication is to assist with was much more serious and prevalent. I’m just trying to understand.

The process is efficient and user-friendly. A reminder is sent. A self update is provided ahead of the appointment. Your vitals are taken and meds and allergies are verified. Dr. Provencio is kind and knowledgeable, and it is comforting to work with her.
As always, gives relevant insights, remembers your issues. Coaches you on how to handle the different situations you may be facing. Active listening and researches novel treatments to enhance your needs.
