Dr. Chowdhury completed her pediatric residency and was appointed chief resident at North Shore University Hospital | Weill Cornell Medicine in Manhattan, New York. Then she finished a three-year fellowship program in pediatric cardiology at the North Shore University | Northwell Health® in Manhasset, New York. Dr. Chowdhury is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology and Adults with Congenital Heart Disease.

On behalf of my family, we would like to express the relief we felt visiting Dr Chowdhury's office for the diagnosis of our baby. We came to her office for a second opinion after being told our son needed surgery this year. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, we felt that we were treated respectfully, and we felt seen and our questions were answered. I appreciated given the option to hold my baby during the echo (something that has never been offered at our current hospital). It helped my baby feel more at ease, and even though he was moving, the ultrasound tech was patient and kind, never seemed rushed. Our visit was long, but every member we met with was kind, made eye contact with us, interacted with our baby, and were diligent in their task. When we finally saw Dr. C, we were grateful to see a visual explanation of our son's current situation, and it was explained thoroughly, and gave us a deeper insight in our options and next steps. Dr. C is very knowledgeable and aligns with our views on respecting the body and letting it move through its course before making any major decision. She validated our anxieties and provided us with different information that helped us understand more of the situation and how to manage it. Her words were encouraging - and helped us to regain hope in our son's health. Our drive was almost 2 hours long, but we felt lighter coming back with a new set of eyes to move forward with our son's diagnosis. Overall, we appreciated the attention given to our family.

All the doctors in this office have been incredibly attentive, compassionate, and thorough. They take the time to listen to all of our concerns, ensuring that we feel heard and supported. The entire staff, from the front desk to the nurses, are welcoming and professional. I truly appreciate the level of attention and commitment they provide, and I feel confident knowing my child is in such capable hands.
Very nice and informative. The reason I didn’t give a 5 star review is because they made us wait 45 minutes to see the doctor after putting us in a room. Other than the ridiculous wait time the appointment went very well.

Dr Chowdhury is amazing. She’s been working with my daughter since she was a few days old. She’s thorough, kind and caring. She gives you a full picture of where you are and where you’re headed. I trust her judgment and knowledge. Couldn’t recommend her more.
