Highly recommend Dr. Chowdhury and her practice! We travel 45+ minutes for each visit and it’s well worth the drive!! We have had the absolute pleasure of interacting with her front office team, her MA’s, her two employees who conShow moreduct the echos and stress tests and two of her PA’s! My son, Gryson R, has been so upset and anxious since his heart issues started. Today, 4/15/24, we had the most amazing, kind and compassionate PA!!! I’m so upset I can’t remember her name!!! She recognized Gry’s anxiety immediately! She gave kid friendly examples and drawings and eased his mind.. as well as mine!! He walked in overwhelmed and left feeling confident and secure with his health plan! From the bottom of my heart, thank you!!!!!! Other notable mentions.. our appt was scheduled the day after we left the hospital. All testing was either done or scheduled on the first appt. Their heart monitoring company was absolutely amazing and so efficient! And we can’t forget about the fish!! He/she is probably the main character of the office ! He gave my little anxious son some comfort and joy in between a short wait time! He definitely deserves more flakes

The fact that she had access to multiple modalities right there in her office not only made it convenient, but gave us information about my son as soon as possible. Most other medical facilities would have taken weeks and multiple appointments to get answers. I highly recommend Dr Chowdhury if you have any cardiac concerns!
Dr. Chowdhury completed her pediatric residency and was appointed chief resident at North Shore University Hospital | Weill Cornell Medicine in Manhattan, New York. Then she finished a three-year fellowship program in pediatric cardiology at the North Shore University | Northwell Health® in Manhasset, New York. Always a great visit...great staff, feels like family. We were seeing Dr. C since Amanda was 3 mo the old. She is now 16 and going strong.
Staff is extremely caring and compassionate. Listens to all concerns and provides explanations in easy to understand terms. Creates trust for our grandchild as we deal with the complexities of POTS.

During my daughters visit today with Dr. Chowdhury we were yelled at, humiliated, had the door slammed and were both left in tears. This unethical behavior and care should have never occurred. My daughters Pots is triggered by stress and the behavior Chowdhury displayed today while being a doctor for children resulted in my daughters POTS being in worse condition then when we arrived. We left without the necessary follow up care and told we could not come back.
Dr Chowdhury was recommended to us by friends who had children with POTS. She saw the tachycardia at our first appointment. We loved how she took us seriously. A little over a month later she said my daughter had a conversion disorder and not POTS. She then said we need to fix whatever eating disorder she has and shut the door without saying anything else. Not very professional at all!

The appointment was great! No long wait! They took the test they need it before the appointment so the wait wasn’t long! All the employees were helpful and friendly!

Dr. Chowdhury is shows caring and dedication in her care of children with congenital heart disease. Our daughters have been with her for over 16 years. She educates them about their hearts and clearly wants them to feel confident and empowered. Everyone at the office is nice and good at what they do.
My first visit went well. Staff was great!
All the staff is really nice and explain all they are doing. My 3 year old was very calmed during the whole appointment.

Consistently thorough, kind, compassionate. Dr Chowdhury and her team are phenomenal. Even though it may be a very busy practice, she and Sydney always take the time to listen to our questions, provide education, support us, and encourage us. If you need an excellent cardiologist who also has extremely amazing "bedside manners"... stop here!
