Dr. Diana Awuah, DNP

Through active listening and thoughtful questioning, I am to deliver high-quality care that utilizes the most recent advancements in medicine. I am especially interested in women’s health issues and mental care and offer over 9 years of experience in the study, treatment, and prevention of diseases affecting women and mental health. I earned my Doctorate degree in nursing practice at Georgia State University. As a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and a certified family nurse practitioner, I have extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions like bipolar disorder, anxiety, and depression, and behavioral health issues, such as autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I completed training in addiction medicine to help people achieve long-term recovery from drug and alcohol challenges. Improving the health of her patients is my priority and passion.
