Let me just say that Dr.Marin is not just understanding but extremly knowledgeable and unbiased. I really lucked out finding him. It's refreshing to have the ability to get treatment that is fullfilling and with some work on mShow morey part is having positive improvements in the way I cope with life. My only issue is that I can't see him more. If your reading this you obviously are doing your homework so as you can see from my testimony you won't regret making an appointment with him. Dr Marin is very kind and patient
During my psychiatric consultation, the provider asked if I had been selling my antidepressants to my deceased husband after learning he died from substance-related heart failure. He also dismissed my PTSD from racial trauma without assessing my symptoms, stating only my childhood trauma qualified because he "takes PTSD seriously" as a veteran w/no assessment.I left feeling judged, invalidated, and concerned by the lack of evidence-based assessment, overall professionalism, and compassion shown.

Did not listen or seem to comprehend what I was saying or remember anything we had talked about previously or even something we had talked about previously in the session. Kept talk f about how little time we had while taking forever to do anything. Seemed to be possibly on anxiety meds himself he was so lethargic. I gave him 3 tries and each time I left unhappy and frustrated because it took the whole appointment to do what I said in the first 2 minutes of the appointment. Avoid at all costs
